Grand Prix or Team Challenge – What’s best for your group?

Wanting to find the most action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled, competitive sport for your group? Look no further. Go-Karting provides you with the perfect activity!

Perfect for any occasion including stag/hen dos and corporate events, Go-Karting is a highly competitive high-paced event that will bring your group together for the time of their lives!

Why is Grand Prix Elite better for a stag/hen do?

Grand Prix Elite is the perfect package for those looking to organise a stag or hen do due to its competitive nature.

In a test of endurance and strategic planning, you’ll take part in a heat which determines what position you’ll start in for the semi-final. This heat is great for those who are beginners to go-karting as it gives them an introduction into how the Kart works and will give your whole group a feel of the track, practising when and when not to speed up at key corners. The heat is determined on how quick you do a lap, so there is no pressure to perform straight away. How you perform in the heat will determine where you’re placed in the semi-final, and for those who are skilled enough you’ll progress to the final. Those lucky enough to be placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd by recording the most laps in the allotted time will be able to celebrate their podium finish with bragging rights for the rest of the night!

The first round could be on you, so put the pedal to the metal and take home the victory, unless you enjoy being the brunt of your groups banter and deemed the ‘granny driver’ for eternity? There really is no better activity to set you up for the night ahead.

What is better for a Corporate event?

The Team Challenge provides the perfect corporate event as you race against the clock with tactical driver changes and strategies being crucial to winning. This timed event allows you to get colleagues out of the office environment and behind the wheel of our powerful go-karts.

The Team Challenge relies on the colleagues communicating with each other to determine when to change drivers at pit stops and coming up with different strategies to beat their opponents. The aim of the event is to record the most laps possible. It’s good in allowing those who don’t normally interact with each other in the job to talk to one another, with teamwork being crucial to grab a podium finish and earn a well-earned bottle of bubbly! This activity is still good for a stag/hen do but is a tailor made corporate event for companies looking to improve team-moral with the event showing leadership, communication and teamwork are the key to victory.
