With three different drivers tasting victory in the first four races of the F1 season, it’s looking like one of the closest Formula 1 seasons yet – but judging by our recent feedback there’s been just as much action and excitement on the kart track. Naming May’s venue of the month was just as tight as the race for the F1 title too, but after a full-throttle sprint to the finish line we’re delighted to name Karting Letchworth as this month’s winners.
There’s a lot to love about this brilliant circuit, but before we get into exactly what makes Karting Letchworth so special, we’d like to say a huge congratulations to the entire team. Letchworth Karting is the first of our venues to scoop the venue of the month award twice and their feedback is always some of the best around. They also love karting just as much as we do too, so you know you’re in for some serious fun whether it’s your first or fiftieth time at the track.
What is it that makes Karting Letchworth such a big hit though? Well for starters there’s the track, and it’s not just any track, it’s one of the UK’s longest indoor tracks. In total the circuit comes in at a whopping 700 meters and it’s packed with exciting race features. From full throttle straights and tight corners, to sweeping bends and overtaking opportunities a plenty, there’s excitement around every corner. The circuit’s tailor-made to test racers of all abilities too, which means there’s nowhere better to test your skill at the wheel regardless of how much karting experience you have.
As well as the awesome circuit, Karting Letchworth is also home to a fleet of top-of-the-range karts, which are perfect for setting those scorching lap times in. You’ll need to know how to get the best out of them though, and that’s where the team of expert instructors at Letchworth really come into their own. Not only do they know the circuit like the back of their hands, they also know the fastest racing line and how to squeeze every last drop of speed out of the karts. With years of experience to call on they’ve helped hundreds of budding racers master the art of karting, and because they’re all completely karting mad they know exactly what experienced karters are looking for too.
