The school holidays are here and so is the rain, but believe us it’s not all bad news. All this wet weather gives you the perfect excuse to tear up the track at an indoor circuit. Karting in the rain can be seriously good fun, but even we have to draw the line somewhere. You’ll not only stay nice and dry at an indoor circuit, you’ll also get to race on a much more consistent track, which means faster lap times and a much better chance of securing a place on the podium. Surely that’s got to be better than sliding about in the rain, right?<\/p>\n

You’ll get to find out how good you really are<\/p>\n

Forget full-throttle straights and sweeping bends, indoor tracks are all about tight technical sectors and heart-racing hairpin bends. You’ll still have plenty of opportunities to get your foot down, but the best drivers make up their time in the corners.<\/p>\n

Six weeks is far too long to go without seeing your mates, but if you organise a trip to your nearest indoor karting circuit you definitely won’t have to wait that long. The best F1 drivers have all started their careers in karting and by taking to the track at an indoor circuit you’ll have the perfect opportunity to follow in their footsteps.
